Just read over at pitchfork about Lee Hazelwood's death, and although I am not that familiar with whis work, he did write one of my favorite songs of all time. There's something about the trade off male and female vocals that make the song so good. The song has been covered plenty of times but two of my favorites are from Slowdive and Primal Scream. The Slowdive version was a souvlaki era b-side and the Primal Scream is off their 2002 album Evil Heat, singing the Nancy Sinatra part in that version is Kate Moss.
